Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Miss Moreira trained at the School of The Theater Municipal of Rio de Janeiro Maria Olenewa and at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Mannheim, Germany with a BA(honors degree). Along her career Karina has worked in renewed companies such as Theater Municipal of Rio de Janeiro, Des Badisches Staatstheaters Karlshure, Ballet Ireland, Sao Paulo Companhia de Danca, Tulsa Ballet. Miss Moreira after was invited to join as a soloist Dortmund Ballet in Germany and in 2017 joined Ballet du Capitole in France and also has being dancing as a principal guest artist around the world. Karina’s repertory includes principal roles in Legend by John Cranko; Bachiana N1 Pas de deux by Rodrigo Pederneiras ; The Nutcracker by Tatiana Leskova; Demi-soloist in Theme and Variations by George Balanchine; Sleeping Beauty as Lilac Fairy by Marius Petipa; Don Quixote by Marius Petipa; Age of Innocence by Edward Liang ; “The Vertiginous Thrill of Exactitude” by Willian Forsythe -“In-Between” by Craig Davidson; “CACTI” by Alexander Ekman, “Petit Mort” by Jiry Kilyan, “Giselle” as Pas de Quatre by Kader Berlabi, “Cantata” by Mauro Bigonzetti, “L’arlesiene” by Roland Petit, “Carmen” by Roland Petit, among others. Miss Moreira has also won several international ballet competitions including the “Best Dancer Prize” given by Tatiana Leskova. As principal guest artist she has dance in several international ballet galas including “All Stars of Dance 2015” in Orlando/FL, “Etoile Ballet Gala” in Sweden and Latvia, “XXIV International Ballet Festival of Miami “ in USA, among others. And as a principal guest artist with Ballet West Scotland Company as Odette/Odile in “Swan Lake” by Daniel Job.
She is doing a Master of Arts at the University of Palluca in Germany.
